Hello everyone,
I have a question for all of you! I remember watching these episodes but I don't remember the outcome. In 2004 between episode 212ish and further on there was a serial rapist. These episodes are being replayed on Aussie pay television at the moment. Sam is investigating the attacks and has asked for the help of the creepy (in my opinion) Hugh Wallis, they have the suspect Allan Kennedy and they think that it is him. However Kerry is convinced that it is Gabriel because of what he did to her. My question is after all of that explanation is was it Allan Kennedy or not? I remember that he went to court and that he somehow got off because of Andrea but I have forgotten the rest!
If anyone knows could they please remind me!
Thanks
Laura

Alan Kennedy was the seriel rapist, I do believe. He got off because on the same day Andrea Dunbar was incovered as a Journalist and was unreliable to give evidence so without evidence he got off.

I saw this but have forgotten it. I only have the previous bits added to the Romania 2 ep that I taped.
What was said or what happened for Phil to know that the Inspector fancied Sam?
Did Phil keep talking or looking at Sam, for the Inspector to comment to Sam after the PM outside the mortuary, that they (SamPhil) had a lot in common - both had passion but not just for the job?
And towards the end of 2, when Sam was telling Stuart how it was (being there), when she said she took a lot of wrong assumtions with her, was that referring to the fact of realising that Phil didnt just want sex, but tht he wanted to have a relationship with her? That he wanted her for herself.

The assumptions that Sam was meaning I do think that they relate to Phil.
I have had a look at my tape of Romania 1 and this is the conversation that Bogdan and Phil had about Sam:
"Your partner is very feisty, I think"
"Yeah, she takes no prisoners thats for sure"
"I admire her spirit, women like her complements very much men like me"
"Well I wouldn't embarass yourself Inspector"
"Why? Has she a boyfriend?"
"Not really no"
"Either she has or she hasn't"
"Well she's just split up from someone. Emotionally it's not the right time for her"
"Emotionally! You sound like her big brother"
About the passion comment, I think that the Inspector noticed how worried Phil was when Sam went to the women's refuge alone without him and also when Phil disappeared in the car to meet Gilca Sam also became quite worried and yelled at him to do something.
