The Canteen crew are always looking for fresh meat talent to join the ranks. As this is a fan site and we’re aware of real-life restraints, we’re not expecting regular weekly recaps and are currently accepting submissions on a contribution-based, er, basis.

Basically (…er?) all you need to do is send in a full recap or ‘weecap’ (shortened recap) of an episode that currently has not already appeared on the blog. This will be reviewed by the editing staff and then, if selected, posted up on the site under your name. You can submit as many pieces as you like, and anyone who has more than five articles posted, or contributes on a regular basis, will be upgraded from ‘contributor’ to ‘author’.

Full recaps are anything 2000 words and over, preferably with images, although these are not compulsory. Screencaps are available from the gallery – if the episode you require is not available, you can email a request to hyzenthlay @ sierra-oscar .co.uk, or in the forum’s Screencap Request Thread

Weecaps are anything under 2000 words, but must be over 750. They do not require images.

Submissions may be made for any episode that is not currently up on the site, but beyond that there are no limitations to which episodes you may recap. The submission will be reviewed by the editing staff for quality control, and submissions may be rejected on the basis of poor language or not being in keeping with the spirit of the site. This decision is made at the sole discretion of the editing staff and is final, however the editing staff will always outline their reasons for not accepting a submission.
